Meet the Team

Bruce
Owner
Bruce purchased Gerry’s Service in June of 1996 and has been working in the automotive field since 1982. With decades of hands-on experience, education, and training, Bruce brings deep technical knowledge and a lifelong passion for automobiles to everything he does.
His favorite vehicles include the Triumph TR6, Chevrolet Corvette, Dodge Viper, and just about anything classic. Bruce especially enjoys using wiring diagrams, rebuilding carburetors, resurrecting old cars, working alongside his staff, and mentoring the next generation of technicians.
Bruce enjoys fishing, classic cars, spending time with family, traveling, ice hockey, and attending car shows. What he values most about working at Gerry’s Service is helping people with their automotive needs and getting them safely back on the road.

Melissa
Manager and Service Advisor
Melissa joined Gerry’s Service in 2019 and has been part of the automotive industry since 2001. As Manager and Service Advisor, she enjoys working directly with customers and navigating the variety of vehicles that come through the shop each day.
Her favorite vehicles include the Chevrolet Monte Carlo and her Chevrolet Traverse. Melissa values problem-solving, customer communication, and making sure every customer feels informed and taken care of throughout the service process.
Melissa enjoys camping, spending time outdoors, traveling, and shopping. What she appreciates most about working at Gerry’s Service is the people she works with and the strong sense of teamwork within the shop.

Pete
Lead Auto Technician
Pete joined Gerry’s Service in December 2023. He graduated from automotive trade school and has been in the industry since 2008. As Lead Auto Technician, he enjoys engine repairs, electrical work, and tackling challenging automotive projects.
His favorite vehicles include classic GM cars like the 1970 Buick GSX Stage 1, COPO Novas, ’55 Bel Air, and ’57 Nomad.
Pete enjoys camping and spending time with his family. What he likes most about working at Gerry’s Service is the supportive coworkers, low-stress environment, and the lack of workplace drama.

Abby
Automotive Technician
Abby joined Gerry’s Service in September 2021 and has been working in the automotive industry since August 2020. As an Automotive Technician, she enjoys tackling hands-on work, maintaining our client’s modern cars, and bringing vehicles back to life.
Her favorite part of the job is driving a classic car that the team has repaired after it hasn’t run in years. She also prefers classic cars over modern ones, but her favorite vehicle is her 2017 Ram pickup truck. Abby takes pride in the craftsmanship behind the work and the satisfaction that comes with seeing a vehicle restored to running condition.
In her spare time Abby enjoys working out and baking. What she loves most about working at Gerry’s Service is seeing the excitement and enthusiasm on a customer’s face when they start up and drive away in a classic car that hasn’t run in years.

Dan
Automotive Technician
Dan is the owner Bruce’s older son, and started working full time at Gerry’s Service in 2025. He has been working in the shop part-time since 2019, and has been around the shop since he was a little kid. He plays an important role up front, greeting customers, assisting with service needs, and helping create a smooth, welcoming experience.
His favorite vehicles include the 1969 Ford Thunderbird and the 1967 Chevy Impala. He enjoys working directly with people and thrives in a productive, fast-paced environment where teamwork is key.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with family and friends, performing with his band Evergreen Echoes around WNY, working out, playing ice hockey and cooking. What he enjoys most about working at Gerry’s Service is the productive atmosphere and the strong relationships he’s built with his coworkers and his dad.

Lucas
Assistant Service Advisor
Lucas is Bruce’s younger son, and joined Gerry’s Service in 2022 and works as an Assistant Service Advisor, helping customers navigate their automotive needs. He has also been part time since 2019, and he has been around the shop since he was a little kid, as well. He enjoys working directly with people and takes pride in finding solutions to their vehicle problems.
His favorite vehicle is his maroon 1973 MGB that he recently purchased, reflecting his appreciation for classic cars. He values learning new things about cars and enjoys being part of a supportive, team-oriented shop.
When he is off the clock Lucas enjoys playing hockey, spending time with friends and family, and working toward his business degree. What he likes most about working at Gerry’s Service is the friendly, family-like environment, positive vibes, and learning alongside the team every day.

Sue
Bookkeeper
Sue has been with Gerry’s Service and in the automotive field since 2010. As Bookkeeper, she takes pride in making sure all bills are paid accurately and keeping the office running smoothly behind the scenes.
Her favorite vehicle is her 2018 Honda CRV. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her children and seven grandchildren, earning the title of “Babcia,” as well as cooking and trying new recipes.
What Sue loves most about working at Gerry’s Service is being part of a team where Bruce treats employees like family and truly cares about his staff. She also values the flexibility of doing her bookkeeping remotely.

Jen
Administrative Assistant
Jen joined Gerry’s in June 2022 and plays a key role in keeping the office organized and running smoothly. With a love for spreadsheets and systems, Jen thrives on organization and takes pride in making day-to-day operations easier for everyone around her.
She believes that structure and efficiency create a better work environment, and she enjoys supporting the team in any way she can. Whether it’s managing details behind the scenes or streamlining processes, Jen brings reliability and positivity to everything she does.
Jen enjoys photography and spending quality time with her kids. What she values most about working at Gerry’s is feeling truly appreciated and respected — not just as an employee, but as a person. That sense of support and care motivates her to give her best every day.
